The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Netherlands organizes meetings twice a year for the Franco-Dutch community of Startups and Tech companies. These meetings are organized in collaboration with La French Tech and the French Embassy in the Netherlands.
In October 2016 the CCI organized a meeting for five French start-ups who were interested in the Netherlands: the companies Bubllz, PopUp Immo, OptiMiam and Diakse Sampleo were able to introduce themselves to Dutch players and accelerators Start-up Amsterdam and Rockstart. These presentations were followed by a cocktail that allowed participants to get to know each other.
The success of this first event convinced us that the possibility of regular meetings met a need of the Tech community and Franco-Dutch start-ups.
In collaboration with the French Embassy in the Netherlands and the French Tech we decided to create the Apéri’tech. The first edition took place on 17 November 2016. We were welcomed by the Abeln Advocaten group at the KIT where we were able to listen to the pitches of three start-ups: Storefront (Jort Duijnker), Aera (Ras Lalmy) and Studio El Giutti). Finally, the participants gathered around drinks and appetizers and were able to discuss their activities.
At our next Apéri’tech at Cleeng on April 6th, you will have the opportunity to listen to the experiences of Gilles Domartini and Benedicte Guichard, co-founders of Cleeng, Isabelle Chabry, Personal Brand Strategist at MyReputationlab, and Christophe Laire, CEO Of Ugloo.
